Summary & Instructions

Hot skillet, pour olive oil in it and add onion and the flakes.
Put pasta in water bowl and clean it.
Wait a few minutes and add the paste and vodka. May need to turn up the heat some.
Cook alcohol out and add the cream.
Add salt, butter and pepper.
Drain pasta and add it to the skillet. Make sure to save some of the water and add half a cup to the skillet as well.
Cook until it’s done and add basil.

 

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ shallot, finely chopped or onion
  • 1 small garlic clove, finely grated
  • 1/4 cup (70g) tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp vodka
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • Kosher salt, freshly ground pepper 200g rigatoni
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Parmesan fresh basil
